The Parent Teacher Association are passionately committed to raising funds for the educational enhancement of all students, with the support of school families and the community. This includes purchasing school assets and learning resources, and supporting school activities.
There are two major fundraising projects the PTA organise; printing of the local telephone book (biennially), and the catering for the Lions trail bike ride.
The PTA are proud to have been able to provide financial support for the following ventures:
School Stationary subsidy for every student
Decodable Readers and Resources for the Junior School
Updated School Tracksuits
Blinds for the Food and Nutrition Classroom
The Life Education Bus
Funding Contribution towards Chinese Lantern making
National Area Schools Tournament
The PTA meetings are held once a term in the school library and everyone is welcome to attend.
Times and dates of these meeting are posted in school notices and in the Tuapeka Times.
